Extra load from what? How do you fuel a fire with out oxygen? How do you get fresh air in an engine with a plugged exhaust? You so smart tell me.

How does an oxygen starved fire make so much heat that engine damage occurs? Why would there not be coolant boiling out the over flow?

The cat is not liquid cooled. A damaged cat now longer works, add all the air from the pump you want. Once it is melted or coated with a contaminate the chemical process is done. So all the heat that the non working converter is making is going straight into the engine and melting valves? Valves that are designed to handle the very chemical reaction at the very place that makes all the heat in the first place? Tempetures that are above the converter

Nice cut and paste.... rich mixture = fuel trim adjustment... might go to the limit if you let it....PCM cuts pulse width back, car runs like shit.... barney flunks again.
The only red seal barney has is a harp seal in spring. (Apologies to conservationists).
