UK, ford PUMA, fuel inlet

on a Puma 1.6 zetec SE
which side of the injection thingy does the fuel coming in?
there is a pipe on the left and one on the right, the left is slightly
thicker.
also anyone tried one of those resistors on the intake air sensor, does it increase power? i read it tells the engine managment system that more air coming in, so it upas the fuel

Don't do much on four cylinder stuff but somebody may chip in:- The fat pipe is the inlet and the thinner one is the return to the tank, this is 'cos there's less fuel going back to the tank 'cos the donkey is using some of it. As for the resistor thingy, more fuel is no good and just a waste without more air (oxygen) Not being flippant here but if you want a faster car get one with a bigger engine or just stick nitrous on it, cheap fun if you're not still under warranty.
