Windstar problem

I have a 2000 Windstar that has recently been having a strange electrical problem. Occasionally while driving the sensor for a door ajar will come on along with the accompanying ding. Sometimes this happens while braking
on an incline. There doesn't appear to be a problem with any of the sliding doors themselves. Could the weather in the currently frigid northeast have anything to do with it? TIA Matt

Spray the door latches liberally with WD-40 and see if the problem goes away.

if you're still under warrenty, don't do anything. take it in. they'll change some parts for free and it'll be ok for a while. in a few years when you're out of warrenty, remember the advice you just got. you'll need it. ...thehick
