Windstar problem

I have a 2000 Windstar that has recently been having a strange electrical problem. Occasionally while driving the sensor for a door ajar will come on along with the accompanying ding. Sometimes this happens while braking on an incline. There doesn't appear to be a problem with any of the sliding doors themselves. Could the weather in the currently frigid northeast have anything to do with it? TIA Matt

With a pencil eraser,clean the contacts of the sliding doors.

if you're still under warrenty, don't do anything. take it in. they'll change some parts for free and it'll be ok for a while. in a few years when you're out of warrenty, remember the advice you just got. you'll need it. ...thehick
