Extended warranty on front coil springs expires after 10 years

This is a reminder that the extended warranty of 2000-2003 Ford Focus on the front coil springs expires after 10 years or 150,000 miles in the US. "Ford Motor Company is providing additional coverage under Customer Satisfaction Program 03M02 to owners of certain 2000 through 2003 model year Focus vehicles." "Should either of the front coil springs fracture, your dealer will replace both front coil springs, check alignment and, if necessary, adjust alignment angle at no charge to you under the terms of this program."

Its easy to check your springs. Look in the front wheel well above the tire and you can inspect the spring. Typically the springs break at the bottom. You might have to jack up each side of the car a few inches to see the bottom of the spring. If you have a 2000 to 2003 model, there is a high probability that your springs have "fractured". Don't let the warranty expire.
