On some cold days I have heard a short beep when starting my Ford Focus 1.6 (2002).
Does anyone have a clue where this sound could be coming from and what it could be signalling about?

Hmm, I had the same problem with my 1.8 zetec, the garage replaced the airbag warning module I think

The beep comes from your temperature sensor, informing you that it's below
4°C. Check your handbook.
I thought this was ONLY a feaure of the 2.0 ghia model - when a warning is given on the computer - fuel or outside temp.
Well it did on my one anyway lol
