5 bolt Universal Rim that fits both Ford and Chevy trucks from the 80s/90s

I can't seem to find it again, but the other day I saw a Pro Comp rim (15x10 4"bs) that had both the 5x5.5 (ford) and 5x5 (chevy) bolt patterns. I found this to be odd, in that most universal 5 bolt patterns cover 4.5 and 5, and not 5 and 5.5. Which totally surprises me at I think Dodge trucks from that era also use 5.5 as do many Jeeps.

I can't find the rim or the page now, but does anybody know of such a Rim?

Why would you seek out a universal pattern?

Just search for a rim that fits your application, and if it turns out to be universal, then fine.

Well these were'nt exactly universal, they had both batterns under the cover.

Why? Well, I love old trucks.. 70, 80 and early 90s. But those trucks never love you back. My C10 cost me $1200 after months of searching. When the engine goes I will likely not spend $1500 to rebuild it. I'm looking at spending $1500 in Rims and tires as a real luxury item. It would be great if they could move with me.

The old truck is parked in the front, I like to drive it around and pretend I don't sit in an office all day. Id be surprised If I drive the truck more than 1000 miles a year.

Another option for you, see if something like a Cragar wheel with the "unilug" system (slotted bolt holes) is available in the pattern you're looking for.
