89 F150 Clutch

Hi, I'm back. Now I'm changing the clutch. 4x4 6-cyl.

I have the tranny balanced brecariously on the cross member and have removed the old clutch, however, I forgot to look at how it came out.

Issue 1: The friction plate has a raised center, but I forgot to notice if that was pointed forward or backwards inside of the pressure plate.

Issue 2: there are some parts with the "super kit" that I don't know what are for. They may be to align it in some manner, but does anyone know of a website that has some guidance on this. I'd get the Chilton's but, the library is closed tomorrow.

Dan S. explained :

The clutch is in and you all are slacking. It was really a very straight-forward procedure. Not at all like my motorcycle clutch from the late 80s that never released itself again.

Now I just have a wobbly shifter with no 1st gear. I hear tell it's a neutral gate issue, but I always thought I had a pretty jazzy gate, what's this I hear about a neutral gate?
