A customer of mine has a 95 F350 with the 7.3L. He's wanting a code scanner for it. Nobody seems to know if it's OBD II or what. The "old school" code scanner won't fit the plug in. The diagnostics plug is under the glove box and looks very similar to OBD II. I read somwhere that one of the government regs on OBD II is that the diagnostics plug is on the driver's side somwhere near the steering column. So my question is...what the hell is it? OBD II...what?
The guys at the Ford dealer had no clue either....
