Can I travel into space with a Ford truck ?

I have a meeting on Deimos in 3 weeks and I want to upgrade my Ford to travel from Earth to Deimos.

Is it possible to install a hyperdrive into a Ford truck and will the space-police allow it or not?

Please give advice.

Hyperdrive is a Ford standard assesory package, ships from factory with two models of Hyperdrive. One burns nitrogen, the other a more impure form of nitrogen ( Water ) BEWARE the lower priced model does not work with out sunlight.

Actually the lower priced model works perfectly with or without sunlight. But you have to install a matter/anti-matter reactor. Of course the main draw back to this is the extra storage space needed for the Dylithium crystals. But if you have even a Ranger, the bed is big enough to accommodate the upgrade. His biggest problem will be the radiator on re-entry. If you intend attempt re-entry in a nose first attitude. You have to swap out any belt driven fan with an electric fan that is reversible. Make certain that the fans are already in reverse direction before re-entry. But if you intend a reverse re-entry make sure the tailgate is up and locked.

not directly. You have to install a Thermionictransmister and calbrate it for high elevations.

The real problem with that equation is the power source. At this time, earth scientists have yet to figure out how to make the required power pack and keep it within the weight parameters that would allow it to free itself of earths grasp.

It should be no problem to convert the Ford to travel in space. However it would be impossible for it to meet Deimos safety and pollution standards.

No.

Ford Trucks are too heavy because they're built of real steel. For space travel, you will need to switch to something made of lighter materials, such as plastic and junk metal.......like a GMC or Dodge.

You need to do a "PING" for Scotty. He's quite apt at hyperdrives.

He's the only guy i know of that can meet that deadline, and i've yet to see him do any shoddy work on hyperdrives.

Now that i thunk about it..... last time i talked to him he had one of them Clingon cloaking devices left over from that last conversion he did.....

so....them space-police dudes wouldn't even be an issue.

By the way..... I should oughta let you know...... that I'm going to have to report you to the Homeland Security.

you know...... suspicious behavior and all.

He may not be of much use. He announced earlier in the week he's suffering from Parkinson's and the initial stages of Alzheimers..
