I "hear" you can slowly pour ATF into a carb, keeping the revs up, and many clouds of nasty smoke will exit the tailpipe (water is more subdued)... has anyone done this? The engine is supposed to be spotless when torn down...it seems too simple and effective...

Don't need to do a Google on it because I lived it long before there was an Internet. If you want to live in the past, put eggs in your radiator or whatever, have at it.
