Re: Exhaust

|I have a 99 F350 SD PSD 4X4 lifted 12" and the exhaust has been butchered |(not by me, I inherited the rig). I want to replace it, but should I go with |a Catback system or just take it to the muffler shop and have them make it |back to stock? What are the bennies of going with the Catback and what type |should I get if I go that route? It looks like I will have to take it all |the way back up to the manifolds if that makes a difference. TIA. |Rich

There are aftermarket downpipes from the turbo that allegedly make a lot of power difference.

Do diesels have a catalytic convertor? (never thought about it)

Is this something that I can just bolt on, or will it take cutting and welding of the pipes? Rich
