Who sells discounted A/C parts on the net?

Ford is just tooooooo expensive! I am replacing the major parts on the A/C system on our F-150 PU and I have still to get the major and minor hose assemblies for it, as I personally do not believe they can be cleaned out thoroughly enough to prevent damage to the new compressor. I want new parts, not used. If you know of a good dealer in A/C parts, please post here as I read the group all the time. I am also looking to buy new interior door panels for this truck 1992 f-150 SUPERCAB. They are red and I just want a set that's better than those I have now. JC Whitneys won't fit. Not having any luck with those at all. Maybe someone knows of a good on-line salvage yard that answers emails for availability.

Thanks for the help, Mike, Houston, TX

Got any hose manufacturers in your area? Bring the old ones to 'em and have 'em make new ones. I had to do this for my '71 Olds a couple years ago. It was a fraction of the cost of a NOS (new old stock) part from the Olds dealer.

Have the hoses rebuilt. Many auto supply stores and most hydraulic hose specialists can cut the rubber off your fittings and install new rubber for a reasonable cost. Drop them off, then pick them up the next day.

Thanks for the tip, but I just can't seem to find anywhere that sells the hose assemblies. fordpartsonline sells mostly the bigger items. Thanks again, they do carry a lot of other parts at what looks like a decent price! Mike
