Any suggestions on this?
Thanks.

i just fixed my ranger's cruise control about 2 months ago. does your bronco have an air bag in steering wheel? if it does it uses a 'clock spring'. if it doesn't, then a contct / brushes are used. mine used a contact/brush assy. if contacts/brushes, remove steering wheel, flip it over and clean the 3 copper ring contacts with varsol, then
99% rubbing alcohol. if u can't get rid of the dark brown/black wear on the 3 rings, use a fibre brush or 300 to 600 grit sand paper or pink erase to remove tarnish until copper shiny, clean again, then apply dielectric grease to rings. clean the 3 brushes on the steering column, put on a little dielectric grease, then re-assemble.if clock spr>Used to work intermittently and drop out on an uphill pull. also, if it has a 'clockspring assy' do not turn wheel after you have it disasemmbled, otherwise it will be damaged.
