'04 Century passenger side temp control

2004 Century has the dashboard temperature controls (sliders) for both driver and passenger side, but the passenger side blows full hot regardless of where the temp controlfor that side is set. Is this a common problem with these systems? Is the cause the control on the dash, blend door not working, BCM, etc? TIA

Reread the owner's manual on this to be sure you have not set something to bypass this control.

Then try removing the fuse for the AC control (should say which fuse's) in owner's manual), wait about 10 minutes, then reinstall fuse, turn on ignition (don't start), wait 1 minute. DO NOT touch any buttons during this minute.

The above "reboots" some HVAC systems and that may reset everything to normal.

If that does not work, you would need a factory service manual set of books (order from helminc.com)and a multimeter to troubleshoot the problem.
