91 lumina 4door car front wheel noise

i replaced pass. side half shaft,rotors and pads and now i hear a humming noise comming from there.could the wheel bearing have gone bad while replacing.i had to use a 5foot pole for leverage to break it free and was
wondering could that have caused this?seems to only happen after driving awhile

Did you retorque the w/b nut on the axle to 240#. if not you could damage bearing especially if is too tight.

could wheel bearing have gone bad from removing the half shaft?i had to use a 5foot pipe for leverage to remove half shaft nut so there was some serious tension on it

It's going back on, if it is not titened to 240 # torque, it can be damaged, as I said in the 1st post.
