94 5.7L (350 cid) runs till warm then spits carbon and stalls (flooded)

The car: '94 Caprice Classic 5.7L / 350 cid MPFI

It runs great until it gets warm then it spits gobs of carbon out the exhaust and starts sputtering and stalls (flooded). forget going anywhere then :(

Gobs of carb cleaner. Checked several fuses. New Plugs and wires. New Mass Air Flow sensor. Many large tears.

Any ideas guys?

John

if it suddenly goes rich when it reaches operating temp (warm - i.e. closed loop operation) then it's likely the o2 sensor is faulty, since it is used as a measurement of lean/rich condition only when the car reaches operating temperature.
