Removed the dash on my Jimmy to replace heater core, put the dash back in and plugged in all the plugs. Started right up, no engine light, and all accessories (even the heat!) work fine, however, with the lights on the turn signal arrows on the dash are both on (not blinking)..
with the thing running, lights on, the markers aren't lit but the turn signals in the bumper are. With the turn signal (left or right) turned on, the markers blink but the bumper lights don't.
All plugs have been accounted for except one 6 pin male plug fastened to a bracket below and to the left of the steering column. when I was probing around in it with the tester, accidentally crossed something and blew the parking light fuse. I'm convinced there is supposed to be something that goes in that plug that fixes the problem, but I *cannot* find anything. Wondering if it's a little black box that got misplaced..
any ideas?
