alternator compatibility

Is the alternator from a 1991 Chevy Lumina with a 3.5 compatible with a 1988 Pontiac 6000 with a 2.1?

By the way, the answer to this was yes. The swap was done nearly a year ago and it still works flawlessly. Just thought you'd want to know.

If it will physically mount the same and hook up the same, and has the same pulley, then yes, it should work. H
