Cabin Filter

I have a 2008 Buick Enclave and I understand there is a cabin filter somewhere in the heating system.

Where is that located and is it easily replaced or does a dealer have to do it?

Thanks,

Dave C.

My G5's filter is in the glove box. My husband took it out once but it was still pretty clean looking. I would think you can get a new at any GM dealer.

DIY, about $20 and 15 minutes Dealer install, about $60 Don't know your model, but it is either behind the glove box or under the hood near the firewall. The manual will show you where it is.

Thanks, looks like it is behind the glove box as suggested. I can peer behind it and see what looks like the location. Now I need to bypass the stop of the glove box so I can lower it and get behind it.

I have searched through the manual in detail but have not found any reference to the cabin filter.

But, I can get to it OK.
