Ewww, Banana's in the door panel !!!!!

I stopped at Pep Boys today to look for an interior molding clip ( out of stock, naturally ) and here's an salt covered 89 Bonneville in the lot. Body looked somewhat decent so I took a peek in the window to see what the mileage was, but couldn't see the numbers. I looked around the filthy interior and stuffed in the driver door map pocket which is the full width of the door panel, are three moldy black, banana peels that looked like they been there a week. Ashtray over flowing with ashes & butts,, cough cough. What a mess.

When I lcame out of the store the guy who owned the car was outside now, he looked kind of slobbish, I think he was going to add 2 quarts of oil to it. He was checking the dipstick.

The engine compartment was pure filth with a shiny new altenator mounted up. The anitfreeze & ww bottle were so dirty the levels couldn't be determined by looking through the bottles.

Some people...........

lol, Yup. They're the ones that'll tell everyone not to buy a certain brand if anything goes wrong too.

I keep mine dirty on the outside hoping to make it look unstealworthy but you could eat off the top of my engine :)

Buddy you aint seen nothing. One night I was too tired to drive back home so I stopped at a hotel to get some rest for the night. I parked next to what looked to be a fairly new Pontiac Grand Am. I could not believe what I was seeing I actually stood back rubbed my eyes and took a second look to make sure I wasn't just seeing thing from being so overly tired. I felt so bad for this car I mean it was literaly filled with garbage I mean were taking junk food wrappers, empty can, fast food bags, news paper mail and God knows what else was under all that trash. The only spot that was open was enough room for the driver to sit. There is no way the driver could have been able to see out his or her mirrors or even the back window. The whole cabin of this car was full. Thats not the only time I have seen vehicle like that I have seen alot like that another one I will never forget Was a newer ford full size extended cab Same situation but it had a topper on it no kidding the sliding rear window was open and the whole box was stuffed full of garbage and the whole cab of the truck was full except where the driver would sit. If there was a contest for the messiest vehicles these ones would win. It just discust me to see people treat there vehicles like that especialy new ones. I am very picky about keepiny my cars clean not only because it looks nice it also keeps the resale value up and also makes for safer driving. Could you imagine if one of these vehicles was in a rollover it would take the police forever to find the driver underneath all the garbage. good day Dave

Reminds me about a comment made about me / and my car. The interior was filthy and shabby, a re-do was planned for the following spring. While the engine was out for rebuild, the engine bay was freshly painted, new motor in, running great. I parked at the computer club, opened the hood to check around, a member of the club commented, the engine bay is cleaner than the cockpit, I like this guy !
