Re: Boycott Exxon

Highly recommend slowly switching over to "vegetable oil" diesel engines (diesel to start & vegetable to run) hybridized for electric for city use. Not only don't you have to run expensive "cracking" petrochemical plants to produce gasoline but you can use either fuel to heat your house. Googlize "Mercedes Benz, diesel, vegetable oil" to see what I mean. More public transit helps as well. If you're stuck (or want) a big SUV, think diesel in the future or downsize a model next time. Use the SUV less. Try carpooling. If you have a small car, stick to it or look for the next hi-mileage alternative. It's a little bit of EVERYTHING that makes the big changes. - Bill

It's gasoline you need to be boycotting, not Exxon. It it takes it to shut > up every lameass that thinks you can fill up your Suburbans at Sunoco > instead of Exxon and somehow make a statement, I hope it goes to $10 a > gallon, or $20. Whatever it takes to slow down the squandering and shut up > the idiots. Cut your consumption significantly and it'll drop like a rock. > Buy wherever you want. > > Thanks for crossposting, too. > >
