There is no indication of that. Their export markets are booming (as are China's) and both countries continue to protect their home markets - which is what the USA should be doing - but because "protectionism" is a dirty word in a capitalist/free-market economy, the USA will continue to suffer. If the USA played by the same rules as Japan and China, they wouldn't be in this mess.
