I posted a question about a thud noise when coming off a stop and then coming too a stop on an 84 Parisienne 305/THM350. Somebody replied with the same advise, check the yoke to make sure it moves freely. I never did, just drove it like that, and fixed the problem by selling the car to my son. Now I have the same noise and thud in the floor on an 86 Parisienne 305/700R4 but not all the time. Anyone else have this problem with a 2WD 700R4? I changed the trans mount last year, everything else is tight.
