According to TV news, it appears Nancy Pelosi has bribed enough of the Dims
to vote for a healthcare bill that will tax everyone to pay for nation
healthcare. The Medicaid provisions in that bill will also cause you state
taxes to go up as well because the state must pay half of Medicaid.
FDR said, This day will live in infamy," after the Japs attacked Pearl
Harbor. Like December 7,1941 and September 11, 2001, March 21 2010 will
also live in infamy as the most devastating attack on America.
In 1941 and 2001 we were attacked by our enemies. Today were will be
attacked by the worst possible enemy a county can have, the enemy within.
We spent billions to fight our foreign enemies, but we will fight the enemy
within with the strongest weapon in our arsenal, the ballot.
In 1941 I left school early to fight in WWII. I will be 84 on March 22nd.
Years ago when I sold my fleet service business I set up trust funds for all
of my grand children and great grand children. Since then I have been
endowing Hospitals and Colleges with my wealth.
From now on I will us my considerable wealth to help see the Supreme Court
declare this law Un-Constitutional before I die. I intend to donate
$500,000 to the Sate of Florida to aid the AG in the court fight he and 29
mother states will bring the day after BO signs it into law.
In addition I will contribute to ANY candidate that runs in the Primary,
including next months, against any of the Dims that voted to destroy the
best Healthcare system in the world. I will also contribute to the general
election campaign of ANY candidate, if the Dim that voted for that laws wins
his primary
I suggest all Americans, that love this country, do whatever they can to see
that none of the Dims that voted for that law are even elected to any
elected position again.
Re: Sad day for America
IF your party means more to you than you principles is the reason why I
suggested NOT voting for them in the PRIMARY. Pick a new DIM, if that is
your choice but do not re-elect anyone that votes for this terrible law
I was as Democrat most of my life until Reagan proved to me that they were
the ENEMY of the working, man not his friend.
And why would I vote for any republican? I'm backing Sestak because
Specter is not really a Democrat. The only republican I vote for is
my state rep. She is still an old-guard republican.
Re: Sad day for America
Ed Syphillis voting for a Republican? Oh, he said "Old-Guard" Republican.
We just put one of those in jail here. Remember Governor Ryan?
So we know Ed is an elitist and the disease is getting to his brain.
I've been looking for pictures of Al Capone fishing in his swimming pool.
That would be a perfect picture of Ed, I think.

Re: Sad day for America
Actually the Republican party stuck to its principles of smaller government
and more personal liberties as set down by the founders of our REPUBLIC of
individual sovereign states
Are you saying that the republican party has been wrong to take a
purely partisan stand against everything Obama attempts to do? I
think they are wrong and it sounds like you agree with me.
Re: Sad day for America
On this we agree. I probably won't get the chance, since they're going to
cut Medicare. And the way the law is written, I either have to pay for my
own dialysis or Medicare pays for it. I couldn't even pay for one month of
dialysis at the normal billed rate with my 401k, and I've been saving for 20
years. Of course, that's not the rate Medicare pays, of course.

It won't be long until Medicare is primary and our group coverage is
taken away from us.
Our Taxes will go up and the new 16,500 or so IRS Agents will make sure
you damned well pay for the new health care or go to jail and get fined.
This is not democracy this is not our Constituion.
We are not a scoialst democracy or socialist state.
National Health care is acehivable but the special interests have
established their rume and force compliance. They will penalize and
persecute if you don't conform.
Thi will not stand unless our elected represenatives are gutless and
trully owe their allegiance to something other than the Republic and
American citizens.
Re: Sad day for America
We are now.
Thanks to every dimwit who voted for this communist president, and
also thanks to the Republicans who botched everything - including
the campaign and election - and left us will little choice.
Our next best chance is in November, when we can run these creeps
out of office. I hope some independents manage to find their way
into congress for in that way only will there be some chance of
at least a few voices speaking for the people.

Re: Sad day for America
Foreign affairs experience, your kidding right? The only thing they did
right was send more troop to Afghanistan, everything else they have the done
with foreign affairs has been screw up. From bowing to kings and
dictators to fighting with the Israelis.
Unfortunately for us the voters SHOULD have considered the ONE person, of
the four running for most important EXECUTIVE positions in the world
President and Vice President of the United States, who had far MORE
EXECUTIVE experience than all THREE of the others COMBINED.
Perhaps if they had considered EXECUTIVE experience the country world not be
in the mess that the two with NO EXECUTIVE experience, have gotten it into.
Everything has gotten worse ever since Bush left office and the Dims called
him a dummy. What does that make those two bozos who are destroying the
economy and spending the county into bankruptcy to buy votes, and the
dummies like you think that's a good thing. LOL

While that is true, it's time to start judging Obama based on what he
has accomplished. The Cash for Clunkers program did little to help the
environment and made used cars more expensive. He doesn't have a space
exploration plan. On the other hand, he got the health car plan passed
and helped prevented employment from dipper further. And he's thinking
(something Bush rarely did) about what is good for American education
(hint: Nothing will make kids enthusiastic about science as people
exploring space).
