Where is the stimlulus mony going?

Better check your figures on China, champ.

They've had a big ramp up on military spending since 2006.

What other country is occupying foreign nations; what other country is involved in 2 shooting wars; what other country is fielding a civilian mercenary army of at least 200,000 men; what other country spends more on defense than the rest of the world combined?

You pussy arm-chair war-mongers spending taxpayer money to send somebody else into war. Just go to a bar and pick a fight once a week. That should satisfy your inner needs.

Ask the bigger question, where did the $100B of Canadian and US government money go? Details, not wash overs by a big mouth talk a lot BO. Details...

People voted poorly for lib-dims in congress and the senate. Lets hope in

2010 they think before they vote.

This government is behaving above the law and isn't listening to the people. Does not mater it be BO, senate or congress.

People had better take control of the government or be happy with a tax sheep slavery. It is now a true statement to say every worker paying taxes now pays for corporations banks and businesses in their taxation. Just like in the movies where corporations rule the world, they now get a percentage of your pay cheque.

If people do not start revolting to this, it will only get worse.

Name-calling again? The kids on my 1st and 2nd grade soccer team don't even do that.

Millions of people don't have health insurance in the US. That's not funny.

----------- And now that the government is involved, they will skim the moneys fpr corruption making people pay even more for heath care. And when they manage the health care forr rationing, know that rabbit hole is coming.

While it might be the most expensive, having lived in 4 countries with 4 different systems, Canada, US, UK and NL, I can say the US system is the best by a long shot.

Americans are about to learn how government will justify tax increases under the guise of health care, and then spend most of the money on pet corruption schemes. Ask Obama why none of the health care proposals are not designed to prevent government skiming?

THe reason is simple, sell them rationed health care, jump taxes and more slush money for a bankrupt government. That is the straight no BO no BS answer.

Really? I guess by chose you mean choosing to buy food and clothes for the kids and providing them shelter. People often cannot afford health- care after losing a job, especially considering that they have to pay the full cost of health insurance, if it is available. Health insurance for a family of 4 might costs $1000 or more. A month. That's $12,000 a year. That's a lot for anyone to bear.

That's better than having my life in the hands of a for-profit insurance company which is not interested in my health.

And yet we waste this in Iraq.

In Canada, they spend about 10% of the GDP on health care vs. 16% in the US. But the life expectancy is about 2 years longer. And, the infant mortality rate lower. Gee, I would take the risk of waiting 6 months for heart surgery that is not emergent and live 2 years longer. Plus, I don't have to worry as much about claims denied or a paperwork nightmare if I get real sick.

Plus, I don't see why insurance company stock holders deserve my money.

Are you trying to tell us you still believe that the President determines the amount of spending?

Bush vetoed only 12 bills, none of which major budgetary items (although some did have to do with spending).

Can we assume you do not know President Bush left office in January and the Dims gained control of the Congress, longer before the green bill was passed, the bill that is sending 2.2 Billion of taxpayer money off shore? LOL

Really? You're welcome to believe what you want, no matter how stupid it is.
