1999 Honda Accord V6 - Engine Stumble

I have a 1999 Accord V6, about 197,000 kms. The car was just tuned by a independent garage who is a Honda specialist, who replaced the plugs with NGK Platium, new ignition wires, rotor and distributor cap plus a new air filter. They also cleaned the fuel system, changed the timimg belt and water pump. Car ran great after the work. The Car runs Castrol Syntec 5W30 since 20,000 kms and up to this point has been very reliable.

So here is the problem, the engine starts to stumble and sputter when I try to accelerate, once I back off it usually catches again. The problem doesn't happen all of the time but has happened more recently lately. The last occurance the check engine light came on and my local Honda Dealer said that the code showed a problem with the fuel flow voltage which did not explain the current problem. They could not see any other problems. Once they cleared the code, the car ran normally.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any idea's of where to look next. I drive on the highway and can't afford an unrealiable car.

Could you PLEASE be a bit more vague?

Do NOT, whatever you do, post the actual alphanumeric error code! Don't do it!

We might be able to help you then, and God forbid that should actually happen!

Put injector cleaner in it three - four times a year and please post the numeric CODE you were given. Is your coolant reservoir filled to the MAX mark? The owner's manual says you should do that whenever any work has been performed on the cooling system. Low coolant (air in cooling system) will screw up _just about everything_ on a Honda.

I've gone high-tech. I use titanium foil; it's very effective.
