sodium silicate is what the auto recyclers were using to destroy motors for
the Cash for Clunkers program.
but they poured it into the crankcase,after draining the oil,then ran the
motor until it seized up.
just to insure there would be no repair parts for
not so much that as the junkyards re-selling them as working vehicles.
junkyards often get paid to scrap vehicles. then they turn around and
re-sell them. it's how i got one of my crx's. great business if you
can get it.
