It's dorkage and it isn't just on japanese cars. Black headlight and tailight covers, SUVs raised twenty feet in the air but with no extra ground clearence or dragging on the ground, cars with 10% profile tires that swerve out of control stopping from 25 mph also qualify. Pretty much any modification that seriously reduces performance all to "look cool" in the mind of morons is dorkage.
