Steering Wheel

Had an alignment done recently on a 2003 Accord. The technicians don't know how, or are impatient in centering the steering wheel. The alignment is good but the steering wheel needs to be turned a few degrees to be perfectly centered. Does anyone know how to remove the face off the sterring wheel? Do you have to unplug the air bag?

Thanks.

Unfortunately you must return the car to the alignment shop for the work to be done properly.

In Alberta you wouldn't pass an Out-Of-Province inspection with your steering wheel off center like that. In other words, it's not acceptable for them to make you pay for substandard work.

Very true. Not only is that what the shop owes you, but changing the position of the steering wheel also changes the points at which the turn signals self-cancel. I did that once many years ago and was really unhappy with the way the turn signals worked.
