My trunk stopped opening and sounded anemic when I pressed the button on the remote or the lever on the driver's side door.
I took of the material and could easily see the cylander came off the flange it was cemented to.
Question:
- What is good glue for metal on metal?
- how do I know exactly where to put it on the flange? A half inch too far away or too close might not get the trunk open. It appears from the diagram online, the flange is glued onto the cylander and the flange then is screwed into a bracket.
