Oxygen sensors

I'm out to replace oxy sensors in my 98 Trooper. For some reason vehicle-specific ones cost twice as much as generic ones. Can I assume it's yet another attempt to suck some extra cash out of people and go with generic 4-wire heated O2 sensors? Are there any specific recommendations?

TIA, Peter
