Trooper Rear Door Doesn't Shut Tight

I have a '96 Trooper and the rear door (larger) doesn't shut tight. I'm sure after 10 years of open/close with the weight of the rear tire on there, something must need adjustment. Is there a part that needs replacing or is there a screw to turn that will tighten the rear door latch? (Just like my sliding patio door)

It's not so loose that it rattles, but you can feel the extra play and you can see that the rear door doesn't line up with the body.

Thx for any advise!

My '93 has been that way for years. kind of bounces when it's closed. sometimes I think it's not really closed. There is a small rubber stop under the door that supports the door on the bottom jam when closed. You may want to try adjusting that up or down to make it a bit tighter.

Anytime you have door problems with an Isuzu first make sure the slidebar of the door is properly lubricated so that you can completely close the door without bending/damaging the body. I have to do this every couple years, using bicycle or other very thick grease. If you try closing the door and it won't easily shut all the way (because it is hanging up on an unlubricated slider) you will bend the body and create a permanent distortion of the door (unless you take it to a body shop to have it bent back into shape).
