I'm glad you have no problems with your car.
Is yours a 2002 or 2003 S-Type R?
Also, do you use a touchless car wash with undercarriage spray?
I found one other person in Chicago with the identical problem I have. So far, the dealer there cannot fix the problem after repeated attempts and he is filing a lemon law claim as well.
My dealer in Appleton says the problem is with cars within a fixed and narrow VIN number range meaning that cars made within a certain time frame or production run have this problem. I imagine a recal will be issued soon for this. In the meantime, I'm driving a 1997 Ford F-150 truck with 90k miles on it while Jaguar figures this out.
