1999 Grand Cheorkee Windows - Haunted??

Help! I'm thinking I got gremlins or the car is haunted

Two new problems appeared this week.

First, the headlights come on for a second or so, every five to ten minutes, while the car is parked and turned off.

The Jeep is equipped with auto-headlights. Is there something failing on this circuit?

Also, The power windows are failing intermittently. One day only the drivers window will not work, then later the drivers window works, but the read driver side and front passenger will not. Then later all don't work followed by all working the next time the Jeep is started. Help!!

Any help greatly appreciated

Thx

Both are VERY common in the 1999 Grand Cherokees. The Window problem can often be fixed by taking the panel off the driver side door. Then unplug the wires going to the power window switches, then plug then back in. For whatever reason it seems to reset the system and take care of the problem.

Did you have an auto car starter installed?

The auto-headlight problem is usually the multifunction lever or the sensor on the dash. An easy fix is to turn the headlights off the old fashioned way
