99 JGC getting Air Bag warning light

My '00 Body Diagnostic Procedures book says that you need a DRBIII to read codes... it also says that the symptoms you describe usually are an intermittent problem (as you stated)... I'd take it to someone with the reader tool, although I'd *like* to be able to read my own codes... there's a web page about using a laptop and serial port to do this somewhere... go ahead and pay someone the money, you don't want airbag problems! __ Steve .
