Bridgestone Winter Dueler DM-Z2 on 2WD Toyota Tacoma

I have a 2WD Tacoma, and Bridgestone recommends switching all 4 wheels to Bridgestone Winter Dueler DM-Z2. Anyone tried only switching the rear wheels to winter tyres? Is it a bad idea?
