The answer depends on your model year. The first link is to the kit to mount a TH350 in a 1989-1995 YJ with an original six cylinder engine. The second link is for four cylinders and earlier than 1989 sixes.

?pid=506301 Note that this kit requires driveline modifications and replacement of the transmission main shaft.

My 1989 Suburban has a 350 cid engine and NP231"C" transfer case. So far the transfer case has been capable of what the 350 has handed it, which includes some fairly heavy towing. It is basically identical to your Jeep transfer case, but it is "clocked" the other way. Now if you are going to use the Jeep for serious off-road hijinx, then Bill's way is probably the best way.
