Dunlop Rover ATs on Cherokee?

My Cherokee needs at least two new tires, and I was thinking about the Dunlop Rover AT 225-70-R15, as they're fairly inexpensive. What's on there now are Firestone Wilderness ATs 235-75-R15s. I'm happy with the performance but want to phase them out because of their bad reputation.

Would mixing two different widths and brands be OK, say putting the Firestones on the front, and the Dunlop 225-70s on the back. Anyone like/dislike these? I don't want anything by Firestone/Bridgestone, but would consider other brands.

I do a lot of highway driving, with some occassional very modererate off-roading. I would consider all-season tires, except for the fact that it snows a lot here.

Also consider just buying a "Real Jeep (tm)" before you worry about tires.

JUST KIDDING. That was my attempt at impersonating the LW dude. Did I do good? Huh? Huh? Did I? :-P

I personally would not mix two different sizes on the same vehicle. Mixing brands is ok as long as the tread design and tire design is similar, and as long as each axel has matching right and left tires.

Mixing sizes on the same vehicle can negatively affect the vehicles handling, especially in emergency avoidance maneuvers.
