Liberty Wheel Spacers

Considering a set of Spidertrax wheel spacers for my 2003 Liberty Renegade. I don't do any serious offroading, but, I like the idea of a wider stance, both for looks and stability. Any thoughts???

Don't get p!$$ed off at us, we're just trying to help.

All you're going to do is screw up the handling of the vehicle, put excessive stress on the bearings and get problems with the wheels rubbing the fenderwells.

Probably a bad plan. Spacing out your wheels puts a lot more stress on the wheel bearings. The only good reason to move your wheels out any further is for clearance if you have wider than stock tires installed. It's one of those advantage/disadvantage trade-offs.

Approximately 10/7/03 18:49, KH uttered for posterity:

To go with the Spidertrax, there are several mandatory items:

  1. A set of neon lights for the wheels and along the sideboards.
  2. A set of quick-adjust height control jacks with a controller so you can play Hop The Libby.
  3. A J.C Whitney suicide knecker knob.
  4. A J.C. Whitney chrome foot gas pedal
  5. A J.C. Whitney chrome chain steering wheel.
  6. A huge rear spoiler and front air dam.

You forgot the 5" "fart can" exhaust tip and cheesy neon vinyl graphics.
