Any thoughts on towing a 21 ft. 3040 lb. travel trailer with a YJ 4.0 liter 5 speed. ???

It's a thought. It's not a good thought, but it is a thought.

Dean No disrespect to the OP, but why to people always want to tow the biggest things with the smallest vehicles?

My thoughts are that you should remain in front of me on the highway. As I recall, the YJ is limited to 2000 lb towing capacity. The trouble is not that you will have difficulty getting this stuff moving, the trouble is hauling it back down to parked.

Yes and NO. Sorry, way to much for a SWB Jeep.

The YJ is too light, it's wheelbase is too short, and it doesn't have enough tow capacity for the load. It will be an accident waiting to happen. Don't do it. The lives you save may be your own, your family's, or mine.
