Need a speedo gear for my 81 CJ7, dana 300 transfer case, went from a 4 speed to a 5 speed, from 28" tires to 33", and from 2.73 gears to 4.10, I realy need a speedo gear change. One chart I looked at said I need a 34 tooth, part # such and such, but another talked about there being long shaft gears and short shaft gears and showed 3 columns of different gears. Anyone know what part to ask for if I phone DC given my change.

I was told you can get them from the dealer
DC Part numbers.
the one's beginning with 5 should show up as "Pinion TR" on the Chrysler computer.
