My family and I got home tonight tired and ready to relax. When we got to the door, we were surprised by a package delivered by UPS. The return address was that of Gentex. I was immediately asked what I had ordered and failed to mentioned. I replied honestly - nothing.
But there was something familiar about the company's name. Where had I heard that name.... I opened the box and read the enclosed letter. After reading the first sentence I realized that Gentex was the manufacturer of those cool auto-dimming mirrors with compass and thermometer built in that had the table in the Engineering Tent at Camp Jeep 2003 (and 2002, for that matter).
Turns out that my name was drawn as one of ten winners for there top-of-the-line rearview mirrors. WOOHOO!
Now.... any tips on how to install the thing? It came with instructions, but I was hoping that someone actually owns one and could save me some trial-and-error time and give any tips that would help. Thanks!
