1998 Range Rover 2.5DSE(BMW) Starting Problem

Anyone help me with the above. Hard starting from cold has new heater plugs and temp sensor, has a power feed to the heater plugs, good battery but still almost impossible to start on a very cold morning. Thanks Clive

It is normally a failure of the heater plug circuit that caused this.

How did you check for power at the heater plugs? if you used a volt meter , try again with a 21w bulb.

There may be a high resistance in the relay, there will be 12+ Volts at the heater plugs but not enough current to do anything.

The heater plug timer is a common failure.
