200 tdi oil pressure issues

I had the classic flickering oil light at tickover issue on my 1990 200 tdi Defender. Replaced sender with no improvement, did some googling and discovered the camshaft rear bearing moving syndrome. Sure enough got my chap to whip the engine out (needed a clutch anyway) and he was able to winkle the rear cam shell out via the core plug (it had moved rearwards

1/2") clean everything up and pop it back in with Loctite bearing fit. Early days yet but certainly so far oil pressure is back up again. It may move again, but if the Loctite has set properly it 'should' be ok - time will tell. Posting this so others will know it is possible.
