Will removing the Cat from the exhaust system increase the power a tad ? Does'nt count as a mod for insurance does it ?? JoH

You might fail yout MOT though which wont be helpful.

Does'nt affect smoke test, neighbours done it for years on his Discovery and had no problem so am crossing fingers ! wish me luck

Just done that to ours. Non-cat front pipe is not only easier to fit but it's made quite a noticeable difference to the power.
Hmmm. must see if there's one on the minibus I can remove :-)
