Brembo Brake upgrade

I want to put Range Rover Supercharged Brembo calipers on my L322. Are they fitted with carriers? Can anyone help that has done this conversion.

Hi, ISTR you have to fit the right wheels too, as they & the discs are bigger.

How much are the calipers BTW?

Neil has done it - will be along shortly I guess.

I thought the supercharged RR had them as standard?

Yebut Neil had a "Proper" L322 before.

Yup Cheque went last week. Can't wait , will be after my exam but before the results -- ideal!

:-)

Just need to sort a gas BBQ as my old one got left out in the rain >:-( , one of the sites in France stipulates Gas BBQ only incase campers happen to torch the forest so gotta get one anyway.

Hi again. my L322 is the diesel version it's running 22" alloys so there is plenty of clearance. I have purchased the correct discs and I have the calipers. When I offer them into position I have about 25mm space between where the Caliper mount is and the caliper itself.... It looks like I have some type of spacer missing...

I managed to get a set of calipers off eBay for £143.... What a bargain

but not if they won't fit :-)

You sure they're the right calipers to suit the disc diameter? If so, then I suspect you're right about a spacer. If you have a decent LR garage, try asking their advice.

And you will, of course, be notifying your insurers, if and when you actually get the mod done.

You asked this question on 09/10/2007 and we answered....

No-one stated if there is some type of caliper carrier back then either......

However for anyone wanting to fit the Brembo's to their L322 in the future you need.

2 x Brembo 4 pot calipers from supercharged L322 (Bolt direct to Hub assembly without any spacers ect.) 2 x SDB500193 Brake Discs (Which are for the Supercharged L322 not the sport which is where I was going wrong....) 1 x SFP500070 Set of Pads

Wheels large enough to clear the calipers once fitted as previously stated, and inform your insurance company as previously stated...

Cheers Guys....
