Cheap as chips

Has anyone else noticed how the value of series land rovers has plummeted in the past year or so. 18 months ago i sold my series 3 for 2 grand, just bought another last weekend for £400 just as good if not better than the one I sold. This is my fifth series 3 Landy i've owned over the last fifteen years just can't to seem to live without one. They have all smelled the same and caused me grief, Hospital visits and my skin and clothes will have a permanent oily glaze and I will have a permanent smell of gearbox oil..

It will ruin our new driveway and the wife has already stopped talking to me!

Love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I hope so, given than I've pretty much decided to get a Series 1

80" sometime rather than a Haflinger, but I bet they've gone up in price just to piss me off!

I will be donning a tweed cap, jacket, pipe and raised eyebrows and tootling around the country going "what what" at passers-by.

Anything that keeps the wife silent has got to be worth a grand or so?

=A32000!! Has anyone seriously paid that for a non-mint Series III (except Stage I V8) since the first Foot & Mouth (6, 7 years ago?)? =A3500 has been top-dollar for long time round here.
