Disco front seats

Greetings

Front seats in the Disco (M-'95) are just about completely shagged - that doesn't mean they're covered in carpet (although that may be an improvement). Front-back seams falling apart - probably not worth fixing as the leather appears to be very thin generally - and the upholstery seems to be heading south.

Currently biscuit coloured leather. Not too fussed about the colour although the blue variety may be a little challenging on the eye.

Options? o Re-cover? o Replace? o R/R seats fit? o ?

Don't be silly - if it weren't supposed to submerge it would float

Ebay.

Often get full sets up on there. Otherwise trawl the re-trimers sites. There is a company realtively local to us called Car Transplants. They I think do mail order though I guess they ain't going to be cheap.

Yes - disco sets go for silly money (IMO of course) for sets already knackered - wheras RR sets seem to be 2-a-penny - no harm askin'

Aye, now there's the thing. It would be a joy to treat the wagon to a full refurbish/retrim of the front set, but I can't justify it - given the usage it gets as a work/play/family vehicle.

I don't mind paying reasonable money for kit that ticks all the boxen - or

2p for a set that'll see out the year. But I'll not be paying top dollar for trash.

If you happen to see a Disco buried into a wall/hedge/ditch please feel free to negotiate for the front seats on my behalf :)
