FOC: Discovery fuel tank

Hi guys and gals,

Can anyone give a petrol tank from a 300series Discovery a good home? It came off my V8 when I had the LPG conversion done and has been sitting (hiding?) in the back garden until SWMBO found it last weekend. There's no fuel gauge sender or pump - they went into the reserve tank. Likewise one of the vent valves is missing, but it's not cracked or anything.

It's free to anyone that wants it ... but you'll either have to collect or arrange collection from Bristol.

If no-one's interested then it's off down the tip.

flog em on ebay?. Even if you only get 99p for em, someone else will come and move it for you to save you the hassle!

might be worth a shot. then again, I can keep it - mirth want it to put back into the vehicle one day - the space it should be in is occupied by a very expensive gas tank - if the vehicle were to be got rid of, I might well want to keep the gas tank.

Mines plastic too. I held on to it in case the Discovery ever got converted back to just petrol ... but then I sold the car and forgot all about the tank hiding in the forest that masquerades as my back garden :-)

eBay's not really an option; the listing fee will probably be more than I can sell it for.
