Freelander Alternator Regulator failure

My 2001 V6 Freelander has developed a fault with the alternator. The auto electrican stated that the regulator is faulty and is causing low voltage with faults such as all dash warning lights comming on and the car stalling when I put the indicators on!

The regulator is part number126000-3190 which is made by Denso but no one will sell just the regulator! does any one know of an equivelant Denso regulator? or where to by one in Australia or overseas as Land Rover want to charge $1200 Australian dollars for a new alternator!!!

Try Ingrams - they stock/can get pretty much any available alternator parts. However there is now a trend of manufacturers like Denso not supplying parts for their OEM units until several years after initial release so you may be out of luck.

Hi, If you get really stuck then i could make inquiries for you here and send one over too you!

A picture would be useful to ensure the correct part.
